Project Description |
Exploring the performative in artwork, The Situated Body research project will study how the presence, articulation and understanding of the body feature in creating an artwork through the setting and through human participation. The topic will be viewed from within three different knowledge arenas artistic research, art theory and art education as well as from the praxis perspectives of curating, mediating and teaching art. As common case studies, researchers and praxis partners will work together with students, teachers and the art public to develop and realize performance and performative artworks in a c t 2006. |
